About Dr. Wren

When Dr. Ethan Wren is asked what exactly an orthopedic surgeon is, he explains that his work is focused on treating injuries, conditions, or diseases of the elbow, wrist, and hand. “The intricate anatomy, and my appreciation for the necessary attention to detail are what led me to this specialty,” he says.

As someone who was always eager to be continually learning, Dr. Wren began his path of higher education at Wayne State University, and completed his BS, DO, and Orthopedic Surgery Residency from Michigan State University. Following his Orthopedic Residency Dr. Wren attended the Christine M. Kleinert Institute at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky completing his Hand and Microsurgery Fellowship.
