Amber Darey, MD

About Amber Darey, MD, FAAFP Amber Darey, MD, FAAFP, provides family medicine care for patients across all stages of life, from newborns to older adults. Her clinical experience includes preventive care, management of acute and chronic medical conditions, behavioral health and advanced illness management. Dr. Darey also performs a variety of in-office procedures, including dermatologic and gynecologic procedures, allowing many patients to receive comprehensive care close to home. In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Darey serves in several leadership roles within Beacon. She is Department Chair of Family Medicine and Pediatrics, Medical Director and Physician Lead, Chair of the hospital's Peer Review Committee and Beacon Medical Staff Secretary/Treasurer. Her work has been recognized with Fellowship in the American Academy of Family Physicians and awards for excellence in medicine, quality and safety. Dr. Darey completed the E. Blair Warner Family Medicine Residency at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana. She earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois School of Medicine in Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from DePaul University. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP).
