About Amy Van De Wielle, NP Amy Van De Wielle, NP, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. As an NP, Amy provides care like that of physicians — she conducts physical examinations, diagnoses and manages a wide range of health conditions, and develops treatment plans. An NP can also prescribe medications, allowing Amy to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care. Amy earned her Master of Science in Family Practice Nursing from Chamberlain University. Prior to that she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
