About Joshua Williams Joshua Williams, PA, is an advanced practice provider specializing in neurosurgery, who earned his undergraduate degree from Columbus State University in Columbus, GA, and completed his master’s education at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA. Joshua’s decision to pursue a career in medicine was deeply personal. His early interest in health care began while exploring physical therapy, where he worked with patients experiencing chronic pain—particularly back pain. After a family health experience reinforced his desire to help others return to healthy, active lives, he became focused on serving patients as a medical provider. As a physician assistant, Joshua views his role as a bridge between patients and physicians. He emphasizes education, counseling and thoughtful treatment, ensuring patients feel heard and informed. His philosophy is shaped by empathy and reassurance, informed by his own experiences as a patient.
