About Sabrina Pasley
Growing up on a farm Sabrina Pasley, PA, was always interested in veterinary medicine. Then when she was in middle school, her stepfather suffered a stroke and she had her first real exposure to the world of medicine. “Watching the healthcare professionals provide care to my stepdad and my family was a fundamental time of development for me. From then on, I knew I wanted to help patients and their families during their times of need,” she says.
Sabrina earned her Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences degree in Biological Sciences from Butler University, Indianapolis, IN, and went on to get her Master of Science Physician Assistant Studies from Mercy College of Ohio, Toledo, Ohio.
While Sabrina acknowledges that trauma is a demanding specialty, is one she finds but a very rewarding. “There is usually a way I can help a patient who is most likely experiencing one of the worst moments of their life,” she says. “Patients have taught me to never ‘judge...

In her own words…
Who is or was the most influential people/role models in your life? My mother is the best person I know, and I strive every day to be just like her.
What was your first job growing up? What do you remember about it? My first job was as a hostess at Buffalo Wild Wings. I remember getting a free lunch when I worked a double shift.
What is your favorite food? Movie? My favorite food has always been tacos since I was young, and my favorite movie is “We Bought a Zoo.” I have a tattoo based off it!
What was your best/worst subjects in school growing up? My best subject was biology, and my worst subject was math.
If you could sit down to dinner with anyone (alive or deceased) who would it be and why? I would have a dinner with my father who passed suddenly when I was younger. I would love to hear his advice and thoughts on where I am at in life now.
In addition to medicine, what are you passionate about? I am extremely family oriented and am very passionate about my family relationships.
What are your hobbies, interests? I love to workout, read romance novels and take my dogs on walks. I just recently picked up golf.
Do you have pets? Two dogs – Rexi, a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix and Claire, a long-haired dachshund.
What is something most people don’t know about you? I have a minor in theology which was my “fun” subject in undergrad and something I am glad I completed.
