About Melissa Demetriou, NP
Melissa Demetriou, MSN, RN, FNP-C, graduated with her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Bethel College in 2008, and went on to receive her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Goshen College in 2014. Immediately after, she went on to receive her Masters of Science in Nursing with a specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Goshen College in 2017.
Now, Melissa has found her home with the Beacon Medical Group Orthopaedics & Sports Specialist team, where she is able to plan, implement, and evaluate health care treatment for admitted orthopaedic patients. This can include anything from suturing, to removing surgical drains, to splinting, and casting.
“In my role, I work collaboratively with attending physicians and all other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care for the patients in the hospital,” she said.
