About Caroline Walters, PA
About Caroline
When there are doctors, nurses and pharmacists scattered throughout your family, chances are good you’ll aspire to a career in medicine. That was the case for Caroline Walters. "I always knew I wanted to work in medicine," she says. "But I didn’t know what a PA was until after I completed my undergrad education."
Caroline chose the ENT specialty because it of its complexity. "ENT includes many different organ systems," she explains. "There’s so much to learn." She chose to practice at Beacon because of the care they demonstrate for their employees and their community. "I wanted to join an organization that works to expand healthcare access, and Beacon proves that they’re doing that."
She believes one of the most important duties in healthcare is to help those who need it, and do it with a positive, welcoming and determined attitude. "I aim to provide an environment where the patient is comfortable and can trust me with their health concerns –– they can...

In Her Own Words
Who is or was the most influential person/ role model in your life? My two brothers. They encourage and inspire me daily.
What was your first job growing up? What do you remember most about it? I worked at the local ice cream place. I remember loving going to work because I could sneak ice cream throughout my shift.
What is your favorite food? Movie? My favorite food is sushi; favorite movie is Kill Bill.
What were your best/worst subjects in school growing up? My best subject by far was math; the worst was English.
In addition to medicine, what are you passionate about? What are your hobbies, interests? I’m pretty passionate about rugby. It’s kind of a random sport, but I played for over ten years and referee it now. My other hobbies include grappling martial arts, running, cooking, water sports, watching any/all sports and playing video games.
What is something most people don’t know about you? I spent months living in South Africa, training to be a better rugby referee.
