About Suniya Naeem, MD Suniya Naeem, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry, providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents and families. Dr. Naeem diagnoses and treats a wide range of mental health conditions, including mood and anxiety disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), behavioral disorders, autism, developmental disorders, eating disorders and substance use disorders. Dr. Naeem believes meaningful psychiatric care begins with listening. She takes time to understand each patient's unique experiences and build a trusting relationship with patients and families. Dr. Naeem is passionate about advocacy, education and improving access to high-quality mental health care. She has participated in national advocacy efforts focused on policies affecting children and adolescents. She has also contributed to research in child and adolescent psychiatry, presented at national meetings and authored peer-reviewed publications and a book chapter. Dr. Naeem completed her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. She completed her Psychiatry Residency at the University of Kentucky. She earned her medical degree from Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. Outside of work, Dr. Naeem enjoys travel, camping and staying active through sports and fitness activities.
