Dr. Shermetaro earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency through Corewell Health at Farmington Hills Hospital and Dearborn Hospital in Michigan. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology with a specialization in Health Promotion from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.
