About Ibrahim Lafi, MD
Ibrahim Hussein Ali Lafi, MD, provides neurologic care for hospitalized patients with acute and complex conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord and nervous system. His experience in inpatient neurology and advanced training in epilepsy support his commitment to delivering specialized care during critical hospitalizations.
Dr. Lafi’s areas of focus include acute stroke, neurocritical care, status epilepticus, and continuous ICU EEG monitoring, as well as the acute evaluation and management of epilepsy, headache, movement, neuromuscular and neuroimmunological disorders. He values evidence-based clinical practice and multidisciplinary teamwork. He also believes in the importance of education, quality improvement, patient safety and professionalism.

He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Jordan Faculty of Medicine in Amman, Jordan.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Lafi enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, participating in outdoor activities and staying active. He developed an early appreciation for discipline, teamwork, lifelong learning and teaching, values that continue to guide his work.
