Heather A. Campion, MD, is an orthopedic hand and wrist specialist who treats a wide range of hand and wrist conditions. She is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty certification in surgery of the hand through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Campion cares for patients with everything from sports injuries and fractures to complex conditions that have not responded to previous treatment. Her expertise includes endoscopic carpal tunnel release, peripheral nerve decompression, tendon and ligament repair and reconstruction, fracture management and advanced treatment options for hand and wrist arthritis. Dr. Campion completed her Orthopedic Surgery Residency at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois, where she graduated cum laude and part of the national honor medical society Alpha Omega Alpha and the honor society Alpha Sigma Nu. She received her Bachelor of Science in Pre-Professional Studies and Anthropology from the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana, graduating summa cum laude.
