About Jose Lopez, MD
Dr. Lopez received his bachelors of science degree at Stanford University and medical degree at the UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles, California. He completed his neurology residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, where he was Chief Resident with a research focus on cerebral spinal fluid disorders. Dr. Lopez was a national medical research fellow in the Human Genetics Department at the UCLA School of Medicine. He is board-certified in neurology.
Dr. Lopez has been working at Memorial Hospital of South Bend and Elkhart General Hospital, conducting inpatient consultations, critical care coverage and a variety of medical procedures. He also worked in private neurology practice in the San Francisco Bay Area. Dr. Lopez is a member of the American Academy of Neurology.
