Kristi Smith, PAC

Kristi Smith is a NCCPA certified Physician Assistant with more than 23 years of experience providing comprehensive medical care for patient of all ages. She initially earned her BS with a major in Nursing from Western Michigan University in 1999. She then continued her education at Western Michigan University and graduated in 2003 from the Physician Assistant Program with a Master of Science degree in Medicine. Krist started her PA-C career in Family Medicine in Battle Creek, MI then transitioned to Emergency/Urgent care Medicine at the VA Medical Center in Battle Creek. In 2014 Kristi decided to return to her hometown of Sturgis, MI and has been working in primary care at a Walk-In Clinic. Kristi will now be providing Family Practice Medicine through Beacon Medical Group in Sturgis, MI. In addition to her clinical work, Kristi has written exam questions for the NCCPA National PA-C board exam. She is passionate about the advancement and promotion of the Physician Assistant profession. She has been a mentor to both current and aspiring Physician Assistants and has spoke in the schools about the PA-C Profession. Kristi's main goal is to create an environment where patients feel seen, heard, and comfortable expressing their health-related concerns. This helps to create a team environment with the patient and break down barriers to care. She is committed to building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them achieve long-term health through collaborative, compassionate care.
