Okechukwu Anochie, MD, is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. As a hospitalist, Dr. Anochie cares for patients throughout their entire hospital stay, guiding them through some of their most vulnerable moments. He cares for patients with a wide range of health concerns and has advanced training in sleep medicine. He’s passionate about helping patients access the care they need and advocates for his patients by helping them navigate social services and identify resources.
"I am passionate about advocating for my patients,” said Dr. Anochie, “many of whom are underinsured or uninsured, finding resources by navigating various social services to provide much needed care coverage, including providing affordable medications, free or minimal deductibles for elective surgeries or diagnostic procedures."

Dr. Anochie completed a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Saint Vincent Hospital and UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, Massachusetts. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Rutgers Health-Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Anochie earned his Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He also holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from Towson University and a Bachelor of Science in Cell, Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
