Courtney Shoemaker, PA-C, RDCS, is a certified Physician Assistant who brings a strong background in cardiology and diagnostic imaging to patient care. With experience in cardiac sonography, she has performed echocardiograms for both adults and children, helping evaluate heart health and support timely treatment decisions. Her experience in cardiovascular care inspired her to advance her education and become a physician assistant.
Courtney is passionate about helping patients achieve better heart health through compassionate, evidence-based care. She values building strong relationships with patients and believes open communication is an important part of quality healthcare.

Courtney earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she completed the Path of Distinction in Addiction Medicine. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and an Associate of Applied Science in Cardiac Sonography from Jackson College.
In addition to her work as a physician assistant, Courtney is a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer. Her professional interests include cardiology, addiction medicine and preventive healthcare.
