Kennedy Pratt, PA

As a child, Kennedy Pratt, PA, knew her career path. “I wanted to go into medicine as a kid and then stuck with it through college!” she says. Kennedy earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Hillsdale College, Hillsdale, MI, and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, at Ashland University, Ashland, Ohio. “I chose cardiology because I loved learning about the heart in school and loved my CT surgery rotation,” Kennedy says. With a philosophy of treating everyone like family, Kennedy looks beyond the textbook answer for helping her patients find solutions to their health challenges. In her own words… Who is or was the most influential people/role models in your life? My grandma. What was your first job growing up? What do you remember about it? I worked at a smoothie shop and I remember we would play music so loud in the store that we would get in trouble. What is your favorite food? Movie? Food: chicken wings. Movie: Pitch Perfect. What was your best/worst subjects in school? Best subject: math. Worst subject: English. If you could sit down to dinner with anyone (alive or deceased) who would it be and why? Taylor Swift because I think she would be so fun to talk to. In addition to medicine, what are you passionate about? I love watching sports- especially basketball! What is something most people don’t know about you? I am currently learning how to play the piano.
