In her own words…
Who is or was the most influential people/role models in your life? My Mom and Dad are my biggest role models. They are truly amazing human beings.
What was your first job growing up? What do you remember about it? My first job was as a receptionist at Bangs Salon. I loved being the first person to greet people. I met so many amazing people and developed life-long friendships.
What is your favorite food? Movie? My favorite food is anything Italian. My favorite movie is “The Blind Side”.
What was your best/worst subjects in school? My best subject was always science. My worst subject (or least favorite to learn) was math.
If you could sit down to dinner with anyone (alive or deceased) who would it be and why? I would sit down (for a yummy Italian dinner in Florence) with Florence Nightengale, a pioneer in nursing. I believe I relate most to her nursing theory where nurses have the important task of promoting wellness and disease prevention to the patient.
In addition to medicine, what are you passionate about? I am passionate about furthering my relationship with Christ. I enjoy giving back to my community and those individuals who need support the most.
What are your hobbies, interests? I love working out at Burn Boot Camp. I enjoy watching all sports, but mostly football. I enjoy traveling with my family and having family/friend game nights.
Do you have pets? Two dogs and one cat.
What is something most people don’t know about you? I enjoy running outside and competing in races. I competed in my first half-marathon this past Fall.
