About Elizabeth Cloud
Elizabeth Cloud, AGACNP, was drawn to a career in health care by a strong desire to improve people’s health and well-being. Over time, that interest grew into a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals during their hospital stay.

As a hospitalist nurse practitioner, Elizabeth cares for patients requiring admission to the hospital. She evaluates patients, orders diagnostic tests and treatments, and provides education to help patients understand their conditions and care plans. “I chose general medicine because I wanted to broaden my knowledge and better support patients throughout their hospitalization,” she says.
Elizabeth focuses on compassionate communication, patient education, and individualized care to help patients feel informed and empowered. “Compassion and communication are just as important as treatment,” she says. “I want patients to feel confident and supported in their care.”
In her own words…
Who is or was the most influential person or role model in your life? My paternal grandfather. He taught me many things in life, but most importantly, patience.
What was your first job growing up? What do you remember about it? I cared for the elderly mother of a family friend. She taught me that dominoes is an actual game, not just stacking them in a line and knocking them down.
What were your best and worst subjects in school? It depended on the year. I always loved art, music, and Spanish. To this day, I still do not like fractions.
What are your hobbies and interests? I enjoy traveling, gardening, and music.
