About Natalie D. Nieto, DO Natalie D. Nieto, DO, is a board-certified general pediatrician who provides compassionate, evidence-based care for children from birth through adolescence. She is passionate about promoting healthy growth and development through preventive care and partnering with families to support children with a wide range of medical needs, including those with medical complexity. Dr. Nieto is dedicated to helping children thrive through every stage of childhood. Dr. Nieto values building long-term relationships with families based on trust, communication and shared decision-making. She is committed to improving access to pediatric care, advocating for children's health and serving her community. She believes families play an important role in a child's well-being and works closely with parents and caregivers to support each child's unique needs. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Nieto has contributed to quality improvement initiatives focused on expanding access to care and enjoys mentoring students and trainees interested in careers in medicine. Dr. Nieto completed her Pediatrics Residency at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Health, Medicine and Human Values from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dr. Nieto is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
