About Jonathan Vida, MD
As a hospitalist, Dr. Jonathan Vida enjoys the acuity of care he provides to patients daily. More than that, he also enjoys that he can spend as much time as needed to get to know his patients.
"After I've treated a patient, I'd like them to walk away thinking that I listened to what they had to say, and did what was best for them." Dr. Vida said. "I hope they see how passionate I am about my work."
Dr. Vida sees his profession as a privilege, and that is satisfaction enough for him. He is grateful that he's able to help patients through tough times.
When it comes to a personal motto, he believes in treating patients the way he'd want to be treated, and he strives every day to do more good than harm.
Practicing medicine must run in the family, because Dr. Vida has an identical twin brother who also serves as a hospitalist.
When he's not at the hospital, you can find him canoeing, bingewatching TV shows, and spending time with his kids.
