About Adnan Yousuf, MD
Dr. Adnan Yousuf knew he wanted to be a doctor from childhood. He credits his brother, who is also a physician, as being a key role model who shaped his career path.
As a hospitalist, Dr. Yousuf coordinates the care of patients from the time they are admitted to the hospital to the time they return home. He believes that good communication and collaboration among all colleagues are vital elements to providing exceptional patient care.
“The most important part of medicine, and being a good physician, is that you have to work as a team player,” Dr. Yousuf said. “Without being a team player, you won’t be able to achieve anything.”
One of the most satisfying aspects of Dr. Yousuf’s job is ensuring his patients fully understand the treatment plan. Using his skills as a compassionate and thorough clinician, he works hard to set his patients on the best course for recovery after they go home.
Outside of work, Dr. Yousuf enjoys traveling, reading, and watching movies.
