Dr. Chitta received her medical degree from Gandhi Medical College and Hospital in India and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, in Peoria, Illinois.
A member of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Chitta was a volunteer physician at Sister Maura Brannick, CSC, Health Center in South Bend and assisted with polio immunization efforts in India.
