About Todd Ozdych, DO
About Dr. Ozdych
After a 12-year stint in a career that Todd M. Ozdych, DO, describes as unfulfilling, he made a change to medicine. His interest in this field arose in part because of a friend’s dad who was “an old-time general practitioner,” he says. “I admired him and what he did,” Dr. Ozdych says. In addition, he had an aunt, a nun, who taught physics and chemistry and piqued his interest in the sciences.
Working in general surgery was appealing to him because he likes to fix things and he likes the teamwork in the operating room. His surgical residency was done at MetroHealth Hospital (Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center) Grand Rapids, MI. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, East Lansing, MI.

In his own words…
Who is or was the most influential people/role models in your life? My dad. He never held a grudge and gave everyone a chance.
What was your first job growing up? What do you remember about it? Golf caddy. A lot of dentists have time to play 18 holes, every day.
What is your favorite food? Movie? Favorite foods: Tacos Favorite movie: True Romance
What was your best/worst subjects in school growing up? Best subjects were chemistry and woodshop. Worst subject was current events – I hated watching the news.
If you could sit down to dinner with anyone (alive or deceased) who would it be and why? Jesus, because, can you just imagine?
In addition to medicine, what are you passionate about? I’m most passionate about my three children. There is nothing I’d rather do than hang out with my kids. I do love snow skiing, music and grocery shopping – followed by cooking the food I just bought.
What is something most people don’t know about you? I’m a carpenter at heart.
