About Preston Heath
About Preston Heath
In high school, Preston Heath, PA, enjoyed science and mathematics. After a significant orthopedic operation changed his ideas on a future that involved sports, he took an interest in a medical career. “The orthopedic doctors I worked with left a strong imprint on me at that time,” he says.
Preston’s undergraduate education was at the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio, in the College of Allied Health Sciences, where he earned a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree. He then earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at Kettering College, Kettering, Ohio.
He chose the orthopedics specialty due to his personal experience with what he describes as a life-changing orthopedic surgery. “It struck a chord with me. I have always been the kid that liked to take stuff apart and put it back together,” Preston says. “When someone breaks a bone, or has a traumatic injury, I can easily picture the “building blocks” to help get you back to ...

As a Physician Assistant, Preston sees patients in the office, the operating room and sometimes in the hospital for admitted patients. “Every patient matters to me. You are not simply a number in the system,” he says.
Preston hopes his patients and fellow providers have learned that he will always be there to help them. “It is hard for me to say no,” he says.
In his own words…
Who is or was the most influential people/role models in your life? My father, for showing me how to be humble, but never giving up on what you were after.
What was your first job growing up? What do you remember about it? Cabela’s salesperson. I loved the atmosphere, however I love the outdoors and rarely left empty handed from work!
What is your favorite food? Movie? Favorite foods: Buffalo Chicken Wraps Favorite movie: Sweet Home Alabama – I love a good romcom
What was your best/worst subjects in school growing up? Best: hands down, science and math Worst: writing. I hate remembering punctuation rules.
In addition to medicine, what are you passionate about? Anything outdoors
What are your hobbies, interests? Woodworking, fishing, hunting, college football (GO BEARCATS!)
Do you have pets? A Pitbull mix named Maverick Two cats: a Tuxedo cat named Raphie and an orange cat, Winnie
