About Anthony Vida, MD
Dr. Anthony Vida started his career in healthcare at age 20 as a technician fabricating prosthetic devices. "I found that the majority of my clients were diabetics with lower extremity wounds," he says. "I felt that I could better serve these clients form a preventative standpoint instead of management after the point of amputation."
The first in his family to obtain a college degree, he says he follows the philosophy that "less is more." "I see physicians as medical investigators. My style is not to order a bunch of labs and images to help me come to a conclusion. I rely on history and examination to drive the investigation."
Dr. Vida says he strives to make sure his patients understand what is going on in their care. "If they don't understand what is going on, then I'm not doing my job right," he says.
