Hamzah Sultan, MD, provides patient-centered care grounded in evidence-based medicine. He works closely with multidisciplinary care teams to develop treatment plans that support each patient's needs and goals.
Dr. Sultan cares for patients with a wide range of medical conditions. His work in quality improvement has focused on heart failure, coronary artery disease, diabetes management and patient education, with the goal of improving care and supporting better outcomes for patients. He also participated in the Sepsis Committee, helping strengthen processes that promote timely and effective treatment.
Dr. Sultan is committed to continuous learning and advancing medical knowledge. He has contributed to published research on pulmonary, cardiovascular and complex medical conditions. Dr. Sultan completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Insight Hospital & Medical Center Chicago. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in Bridgetown, Barbados. He also earned a Graduate Certificate in Informatics for Public Health from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri.
Dr. Sultan earned a Bachelor of Science in Cellular, Microbial, and Molecular Biology from the University of Calgary in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
