About Rachel Knafel, NP
Rachel received her doctorate of nursing practice from Purdue University. She received her master of science degree in nursing/family nurse practitioner and her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Indiana University South Bend. She has worked in Elkhart General Hospital's Emergency Department and the former For Women Only, OB/GYN, at Elkhart General. She also worked on the University of Notre Dame Medical Outreach Team. A board-certified family nurse practitioner fluent in Spanish, Rachel is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Coalition of Advanced Practice Nurses of Indiana.
