About Christopher Ketcham, DO
Dr. Christopher Ketcham was born and raised in South Bend, grew up on the south side of town and attended Marian High School.
“I was exposed to medicine at a very early age. I can remember sitting around the dinner table while I was in grade school, and my mom, a pediatric nurse, telling us about her day. My fascination with the body grew as I began to participate in sports and only continued to expand with my high school physiology and biology classes.”
Dr. Ketcham chose to study medicine at an osteopathic medical school because he appreciated its core teachings of the body as a complete functional unit and the body’s innate ability to heal itself. These principles carry over into his practice in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Sometimes it’s as easy as prescribing an ankle brace. Many times, however, I’ll work with therapists, prosthetists, social workers and other physicians as part of a full rehabilitation team to aid in patients’ physical recovery.”
Outside of work, Dr. Ketcham loves spending time with his wife and kids, being active outdoors, and playing softball.
