About Danielle Brown, PA
About Danielle
Danielle Brown, PA-C, has wanted to go into medicine for as long as she can remember. “I started off in biomedical engineering but craved something more, and that’s why I went to school to be a PA. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.”
Danielle received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Trine University and her bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Purdue University. Since then, Danielle has completed clinical rotations at Beacon, which have been instrumental in her decision to join the team. “I’ve worked for Beacon in the past and developed relationships with amazing people. I wanted to continue working with people who are passionate about what they do.”
Now, Danielle gets to fulfill her mission of providing quality, compassionate care. “I provide direct patient care and can diagnose illnesses, develop and manage treatment plans and prescribe medications. I love the variety in family medicine and developing l...

Now, Danielle gets to fulfill her mission of providing quality, compassionate care. “I provide direct patient care and can diagnose illnesses, develop and manage treatment plans and prescribe medications. I love the variety in family medicine and developing long-term relationships with people of all ages.”
Because of that long-term relationship with her patients, Danielle values the health of the entire person. “I take a holistic approach towards treating a patient. A holistic approach involves treating the disease and all the psychological implications that come with a disease.” From this comes Danielle’s succinct yet powerful practice philosophy: “Treat the patient, not the disease.”
While Danielle has been teaching her patients, she has been learning from them, too. “Everyone has their own story, and they all have something they can teach you,” Danielle says. “They’ve taught me that medicine is not just a science, it’s an art. There’s no one way to treat a patient.”
In her own words…
If you could sit down to dinner with anyone (alive or deceased) who would it be and why? I would love to have dinner with my Grandma who passed away from Alzheimer’s. She always wanted to be a doctor, and I’d love to share my journey to medicine with her. I would also want to get some of her secret Hungarian recipes!
In addition to medicine, what are you passionate about?
I am passionate about animals. In my free time, I volunteer at the local humane society.
What are your hobbies, interests? I enjoy playing the piano and spending time with my family at Corey Lake. I also enjoy home improvement projects.
Do you have pets? Yes! I have two cats. Apollo and Zero.
What is something most people don’t know about you? My husband and I started dating at 13 years old, and we’ve been together ever since.
