About Alejandro Mikelonis, PA
Alex received his bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology/Biotechnology from Michigan State University. He went on to receive his master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Saint Francis, Fort Wayne. He is certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Basic Life Support.
A member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants and the Indiana Academy of Physicians Assistants, Alex has a special interest in becoming more proficient in cardiothoracic surgery.
He chose the field because it provides an opportunity to give people a new lease on life and more time with their loved ones. He looks forward to being an integral part of the surgical team, assisting in both the operating room and the office.
In his spare time, Alex enjoys traveling and seeking adventure in nature with his friends and family.
