In the years Alyssa Ingle has worked as a health care professional, she has experienced a broad range of situations. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pensacola Christian College, Florida, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Valparaiso University, Alyssa is eager to continue serving patients at Beacon. “Everyone has a story,” Alyssa says. “No story is the same and should be treated as such.”
In her own words…
Who are the most influential people/role models in your life? My parents. They were the hardest workers I know. They always provided above and beyond, making sacrifices so we could have a solid Christian education/home. They are so great and I’m so appreciative of them.
What was your first job growing up? What do you remember about it?
My first job was working in the laundry department in the basement of a nursing home at night, all alone. Creepy!
What is your favorite food?
Food: are tacos, pizza, and salad.
What were your best/worst subjects in school growing up?
I loved math and science courses. History was my least favorite.
If you could sit down to dinner with anyone (alive or deceased), who would it be and why?
There are too many to choose from: Jesus, individuals in the Bible, grandparents, etc.
In addition to medicine, what are you passionate about? What are your hobbies, interests?
I love spending time with and helping out family and friends, spending time outside during the warm summer months, and traveling. Most importantly, being a light for Christ, a blessing to others, and promoting the gospel.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I love sweets!
