About Amelia Evenhouse
The career path for Amelia Evenhouse, PA-C, was not a straight one to her current role as a certified physician assistant. “I transitioned from a career in pharmaceuticals in 2018 to have a more direct role in patient care. It was the best career decision and I’ve loved every minute,” she says.
She chose this specialty to form relationships and help patients manage their long-term healthcare journey. Some of Amelia’s love for patient care can be attributed to her mother, a clinical psychologist, who instilled the value of caring deeply for others.
Amelia earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise and Health Science at Alma College, Alma, MI. Her Master of Science in Medicine was completed at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo. She has worked in the clinical settings of family medicine, otolaryngology, emergency medicine and urgent care.
