About Jazmine Weldy, NP
Jazmine Weldy is a first-generation college graduate and the first in her family to enter the medical field. “I have wanted a career in medicine since I was in high school,” she says. Her interest in the workings of the human body, combined with her compassion for people, made it the perfect choice. “I felt I had even more to offer after practicing as an RN, so I returned to school to become a nurse practitioner.”
Jazmine has been with Beacon since she became an RN six years ago, working on the cardiac floors at Memorial Hospital. Today, cardiology remains the specialty she loves – you could say it has a special place in her heart.
And so do Jazmine’s patients. “I treat everyone the way I would want my own family to be treated,” she explains. “My goal is always to provide safe, compassionate care that recognizes each person’s individual beliefs and provides education for them and their families.
