About Bethany Metz, NP Bethany Metz, NP, is a family nurse practitioner who is passionate about helping patients feel heard and supported while they manage their health. Her nursing experience inspired her to expand her role in patient care and pursue advanced training as a family nurse practitioner. Bethany believes family medicine is the backbone of health care. She provides evidence-based, compassionate care that addresses the whole person. With a focus on building trust and listening to each patient's concerns and goals, she acts as a partner with her patients to develop realistic, individualized plans for their health. She strives to provide thorough education and preventive care so patients are confident in their healthcare decisions. Bethany values caring for the whole person and is committed to supporting patients through every stage of life. Her dedication to healthcare was inspired by family members who served others through medical missions and efforts to address healthcare disparities. Their example helped shape her commitment to service and her desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families. Bethany earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Outside of work, Bethany enjoys spending time with her husband, children and extended family. She also enjoys traveling, exploring new places, kayaking, camping and other outdoor adventures.
